  • Service refers to our Website and the Application available on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Windows App Store.
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
  • Website refers to TruthIn website, accessible from http://www.truthin.ai
  • You mean the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.


Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Your consent

You acknowledge that this Policy constitutes an integral component of the Terms of Use governing the Services. By using the Services, you agree to accept this Policy implicitly, signifying your full assent to the terms and conditions.

By utilizing our services, you agree to provide your express consent for the Company to collect, process, transfer, store, and share the information submitted by you.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You may do so by contacting the Company through the designated channels provided within the Application / Website. However, such withdrawal of consent may limit or revoke your ability to fully utilize the Services.

Our Services are not directed for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect any Information from individuals under the age of majority. If you suspect that we may have inadvertently obtained Personal Information from a child, kindly reach out to us at support@truthin.ai. Upon receiving such notification, we will undertake the necessary steps to delete the relevant information as soon as possible.

Any attempt to extract or download significant amounts of data or to compile a database from data obtained from the Application is strictly forbidden.

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using Our Service or through any interaction via emails, telephone calls or other correspondence, we may ask you to voluntarily provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.   • Health Focus: Defines your health goals. Specified as Diabetes, Obesity, or Smart Eating.
  • Allergens: Record any food allergies you may have.
  • Height and Weight
  • Activity level

We process your Health Data based on your explicit consent, which is obtained at the time of data collection or prior to processing. You may withdrawn your consent at any time within the application. Please note that withdrawal of consent may impact our ability to provide certain services.

Your Health Data is collected and processed strictly for the following purposes:

  • improving platform functionality, user experience, and service quality.
  • providing personalized health insights.

We only retain your data as long as necessary or legally required.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • access and review your Health Data;
  • request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • withdraw consent for processing;
  • request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements; and

Where Health Data relates to minors, such data shall be processed only with verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, in accordance with applicable law.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

However, the Company shall not be responsible for any such unauthorized access and misuse of your Information by unauthorized persons despite having taken all such measures.

Data Sharing & Data Access

The Company shall not use your Information for any purpose other than in furtherance to providing the Services.

The Company may share the Information in the following instances:

  • upon serving you a "prior notice";
  • upon taking your express written "prior consent" and on a "need to know" basis;
  • to any judicial, quasi-judicial, regulatory, statutory, and/or any government agency pursuant to any legal requirement.

We may share information with third-party vendors, consultants, agents, and other service providers contracted to assist us in delivering or enhancing our services. For instance, we may collaborate with companies to host and manage our data, offer messaging services, analyze our data, or provide marketing support. No employee or administrator will possess knowledge of your account password on the Application. It is imperative for you to safeguard your account against unauthorized access by protecting your password and mobile phone, among other measures. You are responsible for the prudent utilization of the Application. We do not assume liability for any unauthorized usage of your account and password.

If you suspect any unauthorized activity on your account, promptly notify us by sending an email to our grievance email. You are liable to indemnify Us for any losses incurred due to such unauthorized use of your account or password.



Data retention and storage

We retain information for varying durations, with a maximum retention period as provided under the applicable law, depending on the purposes for which it is collected and utilized, as provided in this Policy. We refrain from retaining information beyond what is necessary to fulfill these purposes unless a longer retention period is mandated by applicable laws of the land.

We may retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Such data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our services, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for a longer period.

In the event that the Company is unable to process the Information submitted by you for whatsoever reason(s), the same shall be deleted unless it is required by us to do so under law and/or as may be required for any internal or external audit purposes.

If certain technical or operational constraints prevent us from promptly deleting or de-identifying your information, in such instances, we will implement reasonable measures to prevent further processing of your information.

The Company has necessary policies, mechanism, and tools in place to ensure all the Information that is collected and stored are deleted as soon as the purpose as described in this Policy is completed unless it is mandated by law to be maintained by the Company.

Any data destroyed shall be disposed of in a manner that protects the privacy of your Information, in an appropriate manner as per the industry standard practices and norms.



Grievance Redressal

Raising Complaint: All grievances by you should be addressed in writing to us at support@truthin.ai.

Grievance Officer: A grievance officer will be designated for redressal who shall endeavor to resolve the grievances within a month of the receipt of the complaint. The complaints in this regard may be addressed to support@truthin.ai.
